Majura’s founder Timothy McDonald spent twenty years in journalism and communications at the highest levels, as a journalist at the ABC and BBC, and as an Editorial Director for Edelman, one of the world's leading communications firms.
He has written for and advised executives at multinationals and Fortune 500 companies, shaped podcast strategies for leading policy institutions and built LinkedIn programs that turned business leaders into genuine industry voices.
In 2025 he founded Majura Communications with a simple premise: most organisations don't need a bigger communications team. They need better communications thinking. Senior, experienced, editorially rigorous — and focused on what actually moves an audience rather than what fills a content calendar.
